16th, 17th and 18th century music compositions for solo instruments and instrumental
ensembles. Collection includes manuscripts and first editions of lute music; music of the Low
Countries; music of French masters as well as a number of collections of music for the French
hurdy-gurdy (vičle) and the bagpipe (musette); first editions of almost all of the chamber music
by Hadyn and Boccherini, the string quartets by Mozart and Beethoven and a large number of
works by contemporaries.
