Bauhaus Lecture Notes, 1930-1933

Order Background Specifications

Lecture notes (in German) by the Dutch ex-Bauhaus student and architect J.J. van der Linden of the Mies van der Rohe curriculum. Van der Linden studied architecture at the Bauhaus in Dessau in the years before the institute was closed in 1932. The notes give an almost complete survey of the lectures given during the first four terms of the architectural training programme taught from September 1930, just when Mies van der Rohe was appointed as the Bauhaus' new director.
