The Haupt collection, University of Hannover.
Titles on garden design and garden architecture, most of which are monographs published
between 1508 and 1902. The works are part of the Haupt Collection, which consists of more
than 1,500 titles on architecture and art history and is now held by the library of the University
of Hannover. Included in the collection are Salomon de Caus' Hortus Palatinus
(1620), Antoine-Joseph Dézallier d'Argenville's La theorie et la pratique du jardinage (1739) and
Christian Cajus Lorenz Hirschfeld's Theorie der Gartenkunst (1779-1785).
