Linnaeus, C. (1707-1778) Correspondence |
Over 3,000 letters on natural history and medicine received by Carl Linnaeus between 1728 and
1783. The collection provides a survey of the state of Natural History in his time. The letters written
by Linnaeus convey the same artless charm as his travel books, which makes him a pleasure to read,
quite apart from the special interest of their contents.
