Provenance
Pamphlets were donated to The Catholic University of America by Monsignor Arthur T. Connolly in 1916. They were originally bound in 18 series of volumes that frequently overlapped each other chronologically and thematically. The microfiche edition reflects the order of the bound series. Although the originator(s) of the volumes has not been verified, some speculate that the prominent Irish literateur Dr. Richard Robert Madden selected and compiled various pamphlets.
