Language note The majority of the titles are in the Hindi language, the rest are in English. Provenance Collection was brought to the International Institute of Social History (IISH), Amsterdam, through the offices of Jaya Prakash Narayan and Julius Braunthal, who was secretary general of the Socialist International from 1951 to 1956. In addition to Braunthal's political function, he was also a member of the board of the IISG.
