Language
Most of the material in the CPUSA records is in English, although key documents are accompanied by Russian, German or French translations.
The extensive files on the variuos immigrant/ethnic affairs of the CPUSA (such as the Finnish Workers Federation) have material in both English and the language of the particular immigrant group being dealt with: Finnish, Italian, Hungarian, German, Chinese, Siberian, Croation, Polish, Yiddish, and so on.
